EDUCATION

Damien graduated from Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia, PA, and earned a B.A. in Psychology from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, and a J.D. degree with Magna Cum Laude honors from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, LA.
He is a current member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Montgomery Bar Association, and the Children and the Law, Elder Law, Employment and Labor Law, and Criminal Defense Committees of the Montgomery Bar Association.

Damien D. In addition to the areas of law that Damien directly practices, he also regularly connects his clients with a carefully selected network of legal specialists who can meet their needs in other practice areas.

Damien takes pride in the reputation he has built with clients, colleagues, court staff and judges over the last 20 years for being a trustworthy advisor and dependable advocate. He started his legal career with the Montgomery County Office of the Public Defender, as an Assistant Public Defender in the Trial Unit from 2005 to 2012, and as Chief of the Juvenile Advocacy Unit from 2012 to 2014. In private practice, he has litigated a wide variety of civil, criminal, juvenile and administrative cases in the District Courts and Courts of Common Pleas of Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, Bucks, Berks, Lehigh and Philadelphia Counties, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of PA, and before multiple local and state agencies, boards and governing bodies. He is a current member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Montgomery Bar Association, and the Children and the Law, Elder Law, Employment and Labor Law, and Criminal Defense Committees of the Montgomery Bar Association.

Damien was born in upstate New York, and grew up in Athens, GA, Midland, MI, and Glenside, PA. He graduated from Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia, PA, and earned a B.A. in Psychology from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, and a J.D. degree with Magna Cum Laude honors from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, LA. Prior to attending law school, Damien served as a Teach For America Corps member from 1999 to 2001, teaching a middle school special education class at a public school in New Orleans, LA.

Damien lives in the Borough of Collegeville with his wife and two children. He is an elected member of the Collegeville Borough Council, serves on the Parks and Recreation Committee, Shade Tree Commission, and Human Relations Commission. He is a member/part-owner of several local businesses, and volunteers for many community events. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, travel, hiking, backpacking, sailing, whitewater kayaking, pickleball, live music, gardening and carpentry.
